Make new Friends, but Keep the Old..Wayne Malm

Make new Friends, but Keep the Old..Wayne Malm Yesterday at 1:50pm

I always enjoy seeing old friends..they seem to help one reconnect with oneself. David and I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with Wayne (NM66)and Nelda Malm as they came thru CDA Id on their journey to see the northwest. Wayne and I had several classes together at NM..I was with him, Don Rowhoe (sp)NM64, and Bruce SanFlippo NM665 in our Business Math class when Kennedy was killed. Wayne was some what serious back then but always had a great smile. In my view he as done well in life. Nelda and Wayne have four children and six grandchildren..I think what I admire about them as they openly let me in their life, was their outlook on life..God is present..a love for their family, a huge want to be near their family but on the family terms, unconditional love for their children, a great sense of adventure and willingness to try new things..a worldly sense of knowing everyday things and the unspoken love they share that surrounds them. Wayne thanks again for leaving a part of you with me. You and Nelda gave me lots to think about..Keep living your lives to the fullest..I wish you both enough always..Have a safe journey as you continue in yours travels..
